Sheryl Sandberg is the latest tech giant to remind Donald Trump that immigration is integral to the fabric of the United States.
Sandberg penned an essay (on Facebook, where else?) recalling the bravery of her great grandmother, a Lithuanian refugee who landed at Ellis Island in 1889. “If Channa had not taken that difficult journey, I would not be here today – my family would almost certainly have perished in the concentration camps of World War II.”
Sandberg goes on to call out Trump’s immigration ban and the damage it has already done in the United States.
