Airbnb, Twitter latest tech companies to raise big money to fight Trump’s travel ban

Money is still coming in fast and furious to organizations that help those affected by Donald Trump’s travel ban. And a big chunk of change is coming from tech companies. 

Airbnb, who already vowed to help with housing for stranded refugees and immigrants, is the latest to bring up the total amount of cash startups and tech companies are raising for immigrant and refugee advocacy organizations.

CEO Brian Chesky announced Thursday that the vacation rental startup was matching all donations up to $100,000 through the end of April. All money raised will go to the International Refugee Assistance Project, National Immigration Law Center and International Rescue Committee. Read more…
